Gameplay on Alan Wake 2 DLC’s And Alternate Endings Has Been Leaked

Datamines have revealed new details and gameplay on both of the Alan Wake 2 DLC’s and an alternate ending to its story.

Warning, spoilers ahead.

Posted to 4chan, and reposted to Reddit, the new gameplay and details reveal that the game New Game+ will give fans a completely different ending to the original. The alternative cutscene reveals that Saga’s phone call is answered, Alan wakes up from his gunshot wound from the original ending and sees a vision from Alice, finding out she’s alive.

In addition to New Game+, the leaks also reveal that Dr. Darling from the game Control will be coming to the game as a part of the Night Springs DLC and The Lake House DLC.

Remedy has confirmed that Night Springs will be released in Spring 2024, with The Lake House not yet receiving a release date.

Expansion 1 – Night Springs

  • Visions and dreams. Fiction is written and coming true. Fiction collapses and remains just words on a page. These are those stories… in Night Springs.
  • Play as several familiar characters from the world of Alan Wake and experience the unexplainable in multiple self-contained episodes of Night Springs, a fictional TV show set in the world of Alan Wake.

Expansion 2 – The Lake House

  • The Lake House is a mysterious facility situated on the shores of Cauldron Lake set up by an independent government organization to conduct secret research… until something goes wrong.
  • Explore the Lake House and embark on two separate adventures as the realities of Saga Anderson and Alan Wake collide again.
