What Games to Expect

Generally speaking, Summer Games Fest is always a mixed bag when it comes to gaming announcements. Geoff Keighley himself has said that the show will host 3 or 4 “pretty big announcements”, but what those announcements could be are unclear.

It’s no secret that Keighley has a pretty close relationship with Hideo Kojima and Keighley has hosted some of Kojima’s past announcements before. Could an appearance of Death Stranding 2 make an appearance? Or will we be hearing more of the rumored Overdose game? Footage of the new Overdose title leaked online late last year.

We also fully anticipate that Cyberpunk 2077’s first expansion, Phantom Liberty, will be announced at the show. From the list of confirmed publishers above, CD Project Red is listed and all of its other current projects seem to be far out from announcements.

What do you expect to see at Summer Game Fest? Let us know in the comments below.

Iceland Is Gaming’s Best-Kept Secret

When thinking of Iceland, a few things might come to one’s mind right away. Glaciers; Volcanoes; Northern Lights. But there’s something else that needs to be in your mind when you hear “Iceland”: gaming. Iceland is the home of CCP Games, the studio behind Eve Online. However, it’s also the home to much more than […]

PlayStation Needs a Second Showcase This Year

First off, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t as disappointed as the majority of people expressed themselves to be on yesterday’s PlayStation Showcase. Personally, I thought it was just mediocre, not brilliant, but not terrible, and maybe somewhere in the 6 out of 10 region. Still, despite my feelings toward the showcase on an individual basis […]

Is Starfield Open-World?

In 2018, Bethesda Game Studios formally revealed Starfield, an ambitious, space-based RPG, the likes of which the world has never seen. Following years of development, Starfield is set to release in September 2023, and for the most part, Bethesda has been very forthcoming about the game and its features. Today, we’re looking at a big […]

Is XDefiant On Console?

XDefiant is supposed to be the next best thing being introduced to the competitive first-person shooter scene. It has been in development for a few years, being built from the ground up by Ubisoft and featuring the creative talents of professional Call of Duty competitors. But, is XDefiant on console, or is it just another […]
