STALKER ‘Legends of the Zone’ Trilogy Coming to Consoles

On various Japanese retail sites, pre-orders have recently gone live for a never-before-seen STALKER product named ‘Legends of the Zone Trilogy’. It has been claimed that this triple-pack of titles includes STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, STALKER: Clear Sky, and STALKER: Call of Pripyat, and it’ll be the first time any of these games have appeared on a console platform.

On the likes of Neowing and Rakuten, users can pre-order Legends of the Zone on PlayStation 4 for around $40, and it has been mentioned that the pack will be released on June 27, 2024. It’s only listed on PlayStation 4 at present, but there are expectations that may change soon, with Microsoft potentially revealing something about the pack during the upcoming Partner Preview showcase.

Entering the Zone

This year, the market is set to receive STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the first game in the legendary survival series in almost fifteen years. It has been in development since at least 2012 and is one of the most highly anticipated post-apocalyptic games in a very long time.

Before that, it’s now believed that the Legends of the Zone Trilogy will make it to the global market. The recent listings that have surfaced on a range of Japanese storefronts are indicative of this game being announced in the coming days. It’s supposed to be released on June 27, 2024, which would give gamers a brief window in which to experience the triple-pack of titles before STALKER 2 is released on September 5.

There’s a blurb that accompanies these listings:

The first console port of the survival horror FPS “STALKER” series, which has sold over 15 million copies worldwide, is finally here!

Presently, no indicators are suggesting the Legends of the Zone trilogy will be released on any other platform, but that doesn’t make sense. We’ll update this article when we know more.
