It’s likely going to be the best-selling game of all time, heading charts the world over and sitting at the top of the table for several years, just like its predecessor, but when is GTA 6 coming out? Rockstar Games released the first trailer for GTA 6 in December 2023, prompting the internet to fall into a state of disarray as everyone realised it’s actually coming.

What Day Will GTA 6 Come Out?
Following the release of the first GTA 6 trailer, we believed that GTA would be released in 2025, but since then, things have changed. Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games have finally locked in a GTA 6 release date.
GTA 6 has been delayed AGAIN. Instead of coming out on May 26, 2026, it’ll drop on November 19, 2026.

GTA 6 was expected to be released on May 26, 2026, but on November 6, 2025, Rockstar Games released a statement informing fans of a lengthy postponement. However, out of that postponement came confirmation of a solid release date – the second one we’ve had for Grand Theft Auto 6.

What Platforms Will GTA 6 Be On?
We know that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, but we don’t know if it’ll launch on PC on day one. It most likely won’t. We also don’t expect that GTA 6 will be released on Nintendo Switch 2.
