Following the latest gameplay trailer at the Sony State of Play, pre-orders will officially go live for Marvel’s Wolverine after the showcase, as well as details surrounding the various prices and editions of the game.
Insomniac wanted to show more of the game before opening pre-orders, but thanks to a hefty gameplay showcase, it’s finally been made possible. If you’re planning to pre-order Wolverine, you’ll be glad to know that the game is still on track to release on September 15, 2026.
Marvel’s Wolverine Edition Details
Wolverine kicked off the blockbuster June 2026 State of Play with a lengthy gameplay overview, and Sony closed the segment with pre-order details, including when it goes live.
Two editions for the game were announced: Standard ($69.99/£69.99) and Digital Deluxe ($79.99/£79.99). That’s right, there will be no collector’s edition for the game, so say goodbye to the hopes of 20″ of Wolverine—Venom will have to do for now. Further details for each edition are as follows.
Pre order bonuses include:
- Classic Brown Suit
- Reflective Claws
- +1 technique Point
- 4x PlayStation Avatars
The Digital Deluxe edition includes the above, as well as the following:
- Five Suits
- Five Claws
- +3 Technique Points
It’s worth noting that the suits and claws are purely cosmetic, but they’re bound to get you feeling more like Wolverine than ever before. For a better look at the game, check out the new gameplay trailer below:
That was just the start of the State of Play. Keep up to date with everything being announced right here.
