Diablo 4 has tons of classes worth building a character around, but all eyes are on the new Paladin class, which returns from the beloved Diablo 2. It joins alongside the Lord of Hatred, but if you pre-purchased, you’ve already got early access.
Naturally, with a new class, one of the priorities is creating an OP build to cruise through dungeons and bosses with, and that’s where the Argent Veil comes into play. It’s a unique ring for the Paladin class, and it allows you to auto-cast abilities.
It’s not easy to acquire, but if you can find it, you’ll be able to make one of the strongest Paladin builds in Diablo 4. Here’s where to find it, and why it’s so powerful.
How To Get Argent Veil In Diablo 4

There’s no guaranteed place to find the Argent Veil ring in Diablo 4, as it is a potential drop for defeating various bosses.
Here’s every boss in Diablo 4 that has a chance to drop the Argent Veil:
- Echo of Duriel
- Echo of Andariel
- Harbinger of Hatred
- Grigoire
- Lord Zir
It’s generally agreed that farming Duriel and Andariel are the best methods to obtain the ring, though that won’t come easily as they’re fairly tough bosses. That’s because they’ll only spawn during game difficulty Torment 1, though you’ll need Argent Veil to reach Torment 4 with a Hammerdin build, so it’s a necessary evil.

This being said, there are a few other ways to find the Argent Veil that don’t require boss farming. You can get one from Resplendent Chests inside a Nightmare Dungeon, or from Purveyors of Curiosities, where you can gamble your Obols for a chance at getting the unique ring.
Argent Veil Stats & Unique Effect
Argent Veil buffs the Paladin’s Arbiter form by automatically casting a randomly equipped Core Skill whenever you cast Arbiter’s Evade.
The best part about the ring is that it costs zero Faith to cast the Core Skills, making it especially powerful for ones that cost Life. As if that wasn’t enough, it also buffs Core Skill damage: so long as you have an Arbiter of Justice skill, the ring is ready to be built around.

Additionally, the ring comes with the following stats:
- 1 – 2 to Core Skills (up to +3 with mastercrafting)
