Battlefield Hardline Ending Support For PS4 and Xbox One Soon

The Battlefield communications team has shared an update regarding Battlefield Hardline.

In a statement posted on March 23, 2026, it was announced that Battlefield Hardline would no longer be supported on the Sony PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.

Beginning on Friday, May 22, 2026, the game will be removed from digital storefronts, and players will no longer be able to purchase it on those consoles. Additionally, online services for both last-gen consoles will end on Monday, June 22, 2026, exactly one month later.

PC Players Not Impacted By Battlefield Hardline News

Additionally, it was noted that this news does not affect players on PC, and the game will remain available for purchase. Online services for PC players will remain intact as well.

The game launched globally in March 2015 across all previously mentioned platforms, as well as PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. In its first week, the game sold over 1 million units. In its lifetime, Battlefield Hardline has sold over 8 million units.

With the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series generation firmly underway and the concepts for the next generation of Sony and Microsoft consoles already a frequent topic of discussion, the Electronic Arts title is just moving with the times.
