Riot Games has revealed this year’s set of ridiculous April Fools’ skins for League of Legends, which will release on LoL Patch 26.7 on April 1.
Last year’s iteration was headlined by the extremely popular Pengu Garen skin, which was released to players for free but was only playable for a limited time.
This year, Riot has released a full set of purchasable skins in Bubble Bash Blitzcrank, Pug Trainer Sejuani, Fried Chicken King Swain, Choncc (Tahm) Kench, and Surprise Party Vex.
Additionally, there will be a new prestige skin in Prestige Money Miser Mordekaiser, which turns the beefy toplaner into a terrifying corporate boss.
All League of Legends 2026 April Fools’ Skins
Bubble Bash Blitzcrank

Bubble Bash Blitzcrank turns the robotic support into an adorable bubble-powered toy with the popular sticky hand toys for arms, which are perfect thematically for his signature grab ability.
Pug Trainer Sejuani

We’ve seen Poro-Rider Sejuani, now the Freijlord champion has befriended a giant pug who looks very similar to Kog’Maw’s Pug’Maw skin from April Fools’ 2017.
The skin replaces her usual ice flail weapon with a giant chew toy.
Fried Chicken King Swain

The one legendary skin from the set, this new skin turns Swain into a weird, sexy version of Colonel Sanders who strips off his shirt during his recall.
The KFC-inspired skin replaces Swain’s bird wings with fried chicken wings when he ults. This isn’t the first fried chicken April Fools skin in League of Legends either, as Galio got a similar skin back in 2018.
Choncc Kench

This adorable April Fools skin puts Tahm Kench in a onesie made to look like Choncc, the popular little legend from LoL-spinoff TeamFight Tactics.
The onesie features a golden spatula for a zip in reference to beloved LoL manatee URF and the Ultra Rapid Fire rotating gamemode, which was first introduced as an April Fools’ event.
Surpirse Party Vex

Very sad emo Yordle Vex has been given an ironic Surprise Party skin, which dresses her up as a sad clown.
This is the third Surpirse Party skin in the game, following on from Surpirse Party Fiddlesticks and Surpirse Party Amumu.
Prestige Money Miser Mordekaiser

This mythic skin turns Mordekaiser into a capitalist nightmare, putting the champion into a suit with his stock portfolio displayed on his mace.
For those that don’t know, a miser is defined as someone who hoards wealth and is extremely reluctant to spend money, often living in miserable conditions despite having ample resources.
Instead of transporting you into another realm, Prestige Money Miser Mordekaiser’s ultimate summons the opponent into a drab, soulless office.
How Much Will the LoL April Fools’ 2026 Skins Cost?
Most of the upcoming skins will cost 1350 RP, which will set players back around $11.
Fried Chicken King Swain is a Legendary Skin and will cost a little more at 1850 RP, so around $16.
Meanwhile, Prestige Money Miser Mordekaiser won’t be directly purchasable. Prestige Skins are special versions of Mythic Skins, of which there are various ways to obtain them.
The primary way is by earning it as the final reward of the in-game event’s season pass, which costs either 1650 ($16), 2650 $22), or 3560 ($32) RP. The more premium versions of the event passes offer additional rewards and faster progression towards the skin.
If you miss the event, the skin will be purchasable for 150 Mythic Essence in the Mythic Shop. Mythic Essence is a rare, in-game currency that can be found in lootboxes, The Sanctum, battle passes, or by levelling up (players get 10 Mythic Essence every 50 levels starting at level 150).
Otherwise, you’ll have to rely on lootboxes with extremely low odds of 0.04% in Hextech Chests and 0.06% in Orbs of finding a Prestige Skin.

And what, unfortunately, isn’t an April Fools’ joke, League of Legends is officially getting voice chat with randoms.
