Palworld 1.0 is on the way, and the lead at Pocketpair believes it could sit atop the survival crafting genre.
Pocketpair Publishing struck gold with Palworld. Despite the obvious nods to Pokémon, the game has carved out its own niche. Now, the publisher’s communications lead, John Buckley, is commenting on the goals for the official 1.0 release of the game to bring something for everyone.
Lose Yourself in Palworld
Buckley was recently interviewed by GamesRadar+ at the Game Developers Conference and explained that he wants this to be the kind of game everyone believes they have always wanted.
“There’s so many incredible, incredible survival crafting games, but I think every survival crafting gamer has their own ideal version of what survival crafting should be, and we hope Palworld 1.0 will be that kind of something for everyone, lose yourself in this world, survival crafting game.”
As for when the game will leave early access and what it will actually have added, details are scarce. Still, Buckley is promising things that will surprise players and says that everything will change “from beginning to end.” However, players will also be able to continue where they left off with the same character even when the game leaves early access.
“We’ve tried our best to expand everything. Not just the end game, but also improve the early game, add more to the early game, flesh out the middle game, kind of something for everyone, really.”
Pokémon recently had major success with Pokopia, a cozy crafting game of its own. Learn more about the recent success of that game at this link. Check out the lore of Pokopia here.

I will probably pick the game back up again when it hits 1.0. I really liked it when it launched but I fewll pff after about a week or two.
