How to Make a Hot-Spring Shower & Get Psyduck in Pokémon Pokopia

Pokémon Pokopia has plenty of fan-favorites to interact with, but some of them, including Psyduck, are not available immediately and require a hefty chunk of work to encounter.

Psyduck has very particular requirements in Pokopia that will not be available to players early in the game. In fact, you need to advance through the first area of the game, at least, before Psyduck becomes an option to track down.

If you’re on the hunt for Psyduck and want to know how to make a Hot-Spring Shower Habitat, Insider Gaming has all the details.

Psyduck’s only available Habitat in Pokopia is a Hot-Spring Shower, but it isn’t the only Pokémon that can spawn in the environment.

Building a Hot-Spring Shower adds Psyduck and its evolved form, Golduck, into the encounter pool. Of the pair, Psyduck is the more common spawn.

The Hot-Spring Shower habitat requires one Shower, one Seat of any kind, and two squares of Hot-Spring Water to create. If you’re looking for the easiest way to build the habitat, head to the Rocky Ridges area.

Hot-Spring Water is found in several places inside the caves in the Rocky Ridges, so you just need to add a Shower and a Seat.

However, if you’d prefer to attract Psyduck to another area or a different location than inside the caves, additional steps are required to create Hot-Spring Water.

How to Create Hot-Spring Water in Pokopia

Hot-Spring Water is one of four liquid forms available in Pokopia, either by sucking up existing Hot-Spring Water, or drinking a Roserade Tea.

Roserade Tea is obtained from a powered Vending Machine. Once per day, interact with the Vending Machine to receive one item at random, including Fresh Water and the Roserade Tea.

Once you have carved out or located an area where you want Hot-Spring water to be placed, consume the Roserade Tea, and your Ditto will inflate with liquid. Now, you can place water sources, which will spread to nearby areas.

If you have already created a spot with Hot-Spring Water, or are in an area where it spawns naturally, you can skip the Vending Machine step. However, you must have learnt the ability to suck in and contain liquid from Wooper.

To trigger that mission, speak to Piplup, who asks you to create a Waterfall. From there, interact with Wooper, or build its Habitat if you haven’t already, to learn the new skill and increase your terraforming capabilities.
