MOUSE: P.I. For Hire Price Revealed

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is releasing soon, and now, we know how much it’ll cost. The MOUSE: P.I. For Hire team took to social media to reveal that the game will cost $29.99 when it releases on April 16.

The message on social media also notes that the game will feature between 12 and 20 hours of gameplay, depending on player decisions. The game was recently delayed. It was expected to be released on March 19, prior to an announcement on February 23. Learn more about that announcement here.

What to Expect From MOUSE: P.I. For Hire

MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is a first-person shooter with a rubber-hose animation style. If you notice any similarities between lead protagonist Jack Pepper and Mickey Mouse, that’s because this game is one of the first projects that entered development when the Steamboat Willie version of Mickey Mouse hit the public domain.

A short behind-the-scenes documentary was released in October 2025, covering the development of MOUSE. It was shared during the ID@Xbox Fall showcase.

The game is full of charm and cheese. There are also puns, lots of puns. If you want to know more, you can check out our equally pun-filled preview of the game at this link.

Insider Gaming will continue to provide the latest updates on MOUSE: P.I. For Hire as its release date nears. For more first-person shooters coming out in 2026, click here.

  • Devs always inflate the hours to get sales so MAYBE its 10-15 hours.

Its also an overpriced indie game compared to the amazing 15 dollar ones we already have.
