Pokémon Pokopia has plenty to enjoy, but there is a fair amount of content that is locked around a particular time of day, so it’s natural to want to change the time and skip ahead.
Pokopia has plenty of time-based content, including specific Pokémon spawns and in-game progression, which can make it difficult to tick everything off if your time is limited.
If you’re looking to skip ahead in time and fast-forward your progress in Pokopia, Insider Gaming has all the details.
How to Change Time in Pokémon Pokopia

The time of day cannot be changed directly in Pokémon Pokopia, as the game is based on your Nintendo Switch 2 clock. However, you can adjust that to result in changes in the game.
Similar to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Pokopia is oriented around a real-world clock and time passes at the same pace as the real world.

This means that large tasks, like constructing buildings, use Building Kits and rebuilding the Pokémon Centers found across the map, tick by slowly. In many cases, the largest tasks won’t be completed until one real-world day has passed.
Additionally, certain Pokémon in Pokopia only spawn in specific times of day, making it impossible to encounter them if you play at the same time every day.
Can You Skip Time in Pokémon Pokopia?
Yes, you can skip time in Pokémon Pokopia to quickly advance large-scale products, and even to unlock special event content early.
Skipping time in Pokopia is done by adjusting the internal clock in your Nintendo Switch 2 and resuming the game. Once done, the game will skip forward, transporting you back into your house if a particular amount of time has passed.
