Little more than a year after release, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has joined the Xbox Game Pass service, presenting subscribers with one hell of a medieval marvel. Last year, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 emerged to a stunning reception, receiving critical acclaim worldwide and going on to win some of the industry’s most prestigious awards.
In our review, we awarded the game perfect marks, and for good reason. As one of the most expansive, detailed, and immersive open-world RPG titles to be released in years, KCD2 deserved every shred of recognition it got.
And now, you can play it for free as part of your Game Pass subscription.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is On Game Pass
We learned about KCD2’s imminent Game Pass arrival midway through February, but it’s only now that the game has officially landed on the platform. Users on Xbox and PC can download KCD2 for no extra cost, soaking up all that Warhorse’s RPG epic has to offer – provided you’re not on the Essential tier, that is.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was one of 2025’s most decorated games. The title spawned an immense following, building on the success of the first game, which dropped in 2018. The follow-up title continued the story laid out in the first game, but blew it wide open, introducing an enormous world, hours upon hours of content, and some incredible acting, amongst other things.
It went on to receive three major expansions inside a year, showing immense cadence from Warhorse Studios.
Kingdom Come has joined the Game Pass service alongside Final Fantasy 3, a classic RPG that surfaced way back in 1990.
