2026 is starting to ramp up for big releases, and Reanimal looks set to be one of the biggest horror titles of the year, attracting players across various platforms.
The Tarsier Studios horror title isn’t a platform exclusive, launching on the likes of PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S, but questions always revolve around the latter and whether the title is included in a Game Pass subscription.
If you’re on the hunt for details on whether Reanimal is on Xbox Game Pass, Insider Gaming has all the details.
Can You Play Reanimal on Xbox Game Pass?

No, Reanimal will not be available on the Xbox Game Pass service when the game launches on February 13.
Reanimal is not a Microsoft-published title, and therefore is not eligible for automatic inclusion into the subscription service, and no announcement has been made about an agreement to bring the title onto the service at launch.
If Reanimal were to be available on Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft would have made a big song and dance about its inclusion, and the silence on the matter confirms you’ll need to splash out to purchase the game if you want to play it.
Will Reanimal be Added to Xbox Game Pass?
There is no news suggesting Reanimal will be available on Xbox Game Pass in the future, though this doesn’t mean it definitely won’t be available.
Microsoft is constantly working with publishers around the world to secure new additions to the Game Pass catalog, and a deal could be made with THQ Nordic to bring the title to the subscription service later down the line.
Little Nightmares 2, which was also developed by Tarsier Studios, was added to the Game Pass service last year and remains available, showing that Microsoft has experience working with the developer.
Additionally, several games published by THQ Nordic are available through Game Pass, including Wreckfest and Way of the Hunter.
Games Like Reanimal on Xbox Game Pass
Although Reanimal is not available on Game Pass, there are several games like the title that you can play with your subscription.
Little Nightmares 2 is undoubtedly the closest thing to Reanimal you can play on Game Pass, as it was made by the same developer, Tarsier Studios, but the most recent edition in the franchise had a different developer and is not available on the service.
Other co-op experiences you can jump into with a Game Pass subscription include The Outlast Trials, while any of the Resident Evil games available with your subscription are worth trying out if you’re chasing the scare factor.
