A new foul-mouthed shooter is on the horizon with the release of High on Life 2, and, like with any release, there is discussions about whether the game is available on Xbox Game Pass.
The action-adventure shooter from Squanch Games releases on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S on February 13, with a Nintendo Switch 2 launch later down the line.

Is High on Life 2 on Xbox Game Pass?
Yes, High on Life 2 is included with an Xbox Game Pass subscription and will be playable on day one when it launches on February 13.
The approach is not a surprise, as a similar launch was taken with the original game, and means those with a subscription to Game Pass won’t have to splash out to purchase High on Life 2 outright.
However, following changes made to the Game Pass service last year, the availability of High on Life 2 depends on which tier of subscription you are signed up to.
What Game Pass Subscription Tier is Needed For High on Life 2?
A Game Pass Ultimate subscription is required to jump into High on Life 2 on Xbox Series X|S or PC without purchasing the game separately.
The Ultimate subscription is the only way to obtain day one releases on Xbox Game Pass following Microsoft’s changes in 2025, though the Game Pass Premium tier adds new games within 12 months of their launch.
Neither the standard PC Game Pass nor Xbox Game Pass Essentials provides access to High on Life 2, so Ultimate is the only choice if you want to play immediately at launch.
What Edition of High on Life 2 is Included With Xbox Game Pass?
An Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription provides access to the Standard Edition of High on Life 2, with no advertised bonuses.
High on Life 2 does have a pre-order bundle available, providing the ‘I PRE-ORDERED HIGH ON LIFE 2’ hat for select weapons, and, while it provides no benefits, Squanch Games says “if you don’t pre-order, you’ll never be allowed to have it.”
As this is merely a cosmetic bonus, there isn’t much need to splash out, unless you really want to, and the Standard Edition that comes with a Game Pass subscription is sufficient.
