Last night, ARC Raiders players were busying themselves with querying the disappearance of events in ARC Raiders. In social circles worldwide, fans of the extraction adventure were asking why there were no ARC Raiders events live, given that they’re a persistent feature that rotate non-stop, keeping things fresh for players.
In a post on the game’s Discord server, it was confirmed that an ‘issue with the map conditions schedule’ has been resolved and that events are back in rotation.
ARC Raiders Events Are Back, and Bird City Has Changed
In a post on the ARC Raiders Discord server, the community team confirmed:
Last night there was an issue with the map conditions schedule. We just pushed an update enabling this week’s schedule while also increasing the frequency of Bird City. No download required, but please restart your game to update. We will keep revising and try to find a schedule for all conditions so that all time zones get a chance to play.
There is no store rotation or patch this week, but keep an eye out for the update coming next week.
That statement refers to the disappointment from fans regarding the rotation for Bird City, a minor map condition introduced in the most recent update. It had an awkward schedule, prompting some to stress that ‘those with jobs’ couldn’t access it.
For several hours last night, ARC Raiders events disappeared from the game, leaving a blank map palette that offered no special conditions under which to explore Embark Studios’ extraction title. That meant no Harvester, no Hidden Bunker, and no Electromagnetic Storm, amongst other things.
Fans began to panic, thinking it was an indication of something awful happening at Embark Studios, but it was little more than a momentary blip that was rectified by the team.
