Two new musical instruments have arrived in ARC Raiders as part of the Cold Snap update: The Guitar and the Shaker. Unlike the Recorder, these instruments can’t be bought from traders, and the only way to obtain them is by completing a challenging Buried City Easter Egg.
Successfully unlocking them rewards you with items that are not only valuable, fetching a hefty amount of coins, but also surprisingly useful during raids. Instruments often act as an unspoken sign of friendliness between players, though that doesn’t mean you should ever let your guard down in ARC Raiders.
If you’re looking to add these rare instruments to your collection, you’re in the right place. Follow this guide to complete the Buried City Easter Egg and uncover the hidden stash of Legendary Guitars, Shakers, and Recorders.
What is The Buried City Easter Egg Puzzle In ARC Raiders?

The Buried City Easter Egg in ARC Raiders unlocks a hidden room by activating 15 switches scattered across the map.
However, it’s far from a simple scavenger hunt. Each switch must be pressed in a strict, predefined order, a sequence uncovered by the ARC Raiders Puzzle Discord community. If the sequence is broken—whether a switch is pressed too early, out of order, or someone else on the map interferes—the entire puzzle resets, forcing players to start again from scratch.
This makes unlocking the secret room especially challenging. Between hostile raiders, the risk of accidental misinputs, and the constant pressure of the match timer, there’s very little room for error. The switches are also spread far apart, requiring quick movement and careful planning to reach them all in time.
Because of this, attempting the Easter Egg solo is extremely difficult. Teaming up with friends or coordinating with other players in the same session is highly recommended, as it allows everyone to cover more ground and activate switches in sequence without unnecessary backtracking.
Of course, none of that matters if you don’t know where the switches are. Below, you’ll find the ordered locations needed to complete the puzzle successfully.
Where To Find All 15 Buried City Buttons In ARC Raiders

The image above highlights the locations and activation order for all 15 buttons required to complete the Buried City Music Room Easter Egg.
Following the correct sequence is absolutely essential. You must begin with button “1” and progress step by step through to “15”, at which point the hidden room will finally unlock. Pressing a button out of order—even accidentally—will reset the entire puzzle, so careful coordination and timing are key.
Below, you’ll find a detailed guide to help you track down each button in the correct order. While the switches themselves are usually easy to spot once you’re in the right area, reaching them efficiently is the real challenge. Use the guide to plan your route, spread out with teammates where possible, and minimise the risk of costly resets.
Button 1

Head to the lower-left corner of Plaza Rosa and jump through the open window. Make your way up to the second floor, then head towards the cupboard. The button is hidden behind a pair of chairs next to the cupboard.
Button 2

Sprint over to the Galleria building and climb onto the rooftop. Locate the open elevator shaft with a zipline and descend. Once at the bottom, turn left—the button is tucked behind a metal shelving unit.
Button 3

Travel to the Warehouse building on the far western edge of the map. Climb onto the roof and move towards the skylights. You’ll find the button wedged between two large ventilation units.
Button 4

Go to Marano Park and head to the small shop in the centre of the park. Inside, check the corner of the room—the button is right beside some shelves.
Button 5

Make your way to Grandioso Apartments—Building B1. Inside, use the elevator shaft to reach the top floor (not the roof). Turn left, step onto the balcony, and break the first glass window on your left. Enter, go through the left-hand doorway, then turn left again. The button is hidden behind the couch.
Button 6

Head to Piazza Arbusto and climb the blue tower. Drop down onto the second rooftop below the balcony, then carefully walk along the thin ledge on the left. The button is placed on the corner of the ledge.
Button 7

Go to the road between the Library and Su Durante Warehouses. You’ll find the button inside a bus, parked near an empty billboard.
Button 8

Travel to the buildings near Town Hall, just above the “Corso da Vinci” label on the map. Enter the red building, head upstairs, and go into the kitchen. Turn left into the small bedroom, where the button sits in the corner beside the bed.
Button 9

Head to the easternmost building near the highway, close to Buried Properties. Inside the ruined structure, look for a narrow gap—the button is positioned between a yellow generator and the wall.
Button 10

Go to the Hospital and enter from the eastern ground-floor entrance, next to the “OSPEDALE” sign. Find the emergency stairwell; the button is located underneath the stairs, beside several wet floor signs.
Button 11

This button is found beneath a collapsed section of the highway, on the ceiling of the building to the right of the “Grandioso Apartments” map label.
Button 12

Head to the Church Ruins and climb onto the rooftops on the lower-left side of the area. The button is next to the chimney closest to the sand.
Button 13

Go to the Santa Maria Houses and enter the western side of the yellow building. Climb the stairs to the top floor, then use the zipline leading to the attic. Inside, the button is between an empty shelf and a stack of cardboard boxes.
Button 14

This button is inside an almost-buried tower located between Piazza Roma and the Warehouse. On the map, it’s at the end of the diagonal line.
Button 15

The final button is at the locked entrance to the Easter Egg room. Head to the ground floor of the building north of the Red Tower, enter through the half-buried window of the yellow building, and press the button in front of the locked door. Once inside, grab the loot, extract, and enjoy the rewards.
Complete this Easter Egg, and you should have enough musical instruments to start your own ARC Raiders band! What instrument do you want to see Embark add next? Share your thoughts in the official Insider Gaming Discord.
