Recently, CI Games presented an all-new trailer for Lords of the Fallen 2 at The Game Awards, unveiling more of the game’s backstory and setting. It was lapped up by Soulslike fans worldwide, given that the first game was positively received and has also just been updated with a super-sized ‘2.5’ patch.
In a post on social media, CI Games’ CEO and the head of the studio, Marek Tyminski, reverted to his rhetoric about games needing to avoid political agendas. He stated in clear terms that Lords of the Fallen 2, slated for 2026, will feature ‘attractive female characters’ wearing ‘revealing outfits’.
From The Horse’s Mouth, LOTF2 Will Have Eye Candy
In a recent post on social media, Marek Tyminski, the CEO at CI Games, revealed some lore about the studio and the creation of Lords of the Fallen:
Many of you asked why the game initially had body type A/B.
Hexworks started early 2020 as an autonomous studio owned by CI Games. Early on, political correctness and filtering meant not every decision reached me on time. I got a lot more involved from late 2024 and now act as Head of Studio alongside my CEO role.
Things are very different now and the studio got fully integrated. We reverted a lot of wrong decisions and will continue improving. Lords II is being built on real player feedback, and it’s crystal clear in the last two trailers.
The comments under that post came from curious fans, and one user asked, ‘I’m gonna buy the game, definitely. Will there be attractive female characters, and will there be revealing outfits and armor for them?’
Marek simply responded, ‘Yes’.
He also went on to stress LOTF2 will be a ‘proper Soulslike’ and that soon enough, the team will release an unedited gameplay trailer.
When another fan pointed out that games should be fun and not ‘politically correct’, Tyminski wrote, ‘Correct’.
Early in 2025, Tyminski appeared on social media rebelling against forced DEI in games. He backed up a statement made by CI Games’ marketing director, which suggests that the studio wouldn’t shoehorn DEI elements into their games just to tick that political agenda checkbox.

Finally DEI and woke agentas is fading in rapid pace. We’ve seen this exclusively from the start of the year. Expedition 33 is one big example. Pure fun game with attractive females.
This game is on its fifth(?) pass trying to, as the company itself has said, “break even”(while Ghosts of Yotei, the current target of culture war grifters on Youtube, sold 3 million in its first month) and they’re doing everything they can to pander to the midwit, chud crowd. The game is still a dogshit Soulslike, no amount of trying to paper over it by claiming how “unwoke” it is, is going to fix the fact the game isn’t good. CEO’s a moron and clearly doesn’t know what makes a successful Soulslike… Maybe Lords of the Fallen 3, version 45 will get it.
Gross
Its so funny how its the same shit but now the buzzwords will be pleasing the opposite side. “no politics” “for the real gamers” lmao. Zero substance
big win for gamers
what the fuck is he talking about, baldur’s gate 3 lets you have sex with a bear
video games are hornier than they’ve ever been
Yes, “DEI” and “Woke” are why the game failed initially, and not the complete lack of design sensibility or understanding of how to make a souls like feel good. “A and B” body types are why the game failed, no souls like could possibly succeed or be a commercial success with those! Thats why elden ring is such a bad game right? Thats why elden ring failed for not having skimpy and sexy armors for female characters right?
I have no faith that this game will be well made if the issues this CEO is focusing on are these, instead of the core and fundamental design flaws that plagued Lords 23 at launch, and still plague it to this day.
What a loser.
