How to Make a Sparkling Power Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Unlike using Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s sandwiches, there is no guaranteed way to make a Sparkling Power Donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Instead, Donuts that can be made with Sparkling Power as an outcome can also provide different boosts.
Sparkling Power is obtained by having a high Sweet rating when making a donut in Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension, which can come in a variety of forms. Boosts are available in levels of 1-3, and can target specific types of Pokémon, or provide boosts for all Pokémon encounters.
However, the Sweet rating can also result in boosts to encounter the odds of finding Alpha Pokémon, small-sized variations of Pokémon, and large-sized variations. Again, these can appear in levels of 1-3.
You can farm for Sparkling Power Donuts by dropping a hard save before making a donut, which you can then recover if you don’t get the intended results. While this can be tiresome, it’s the best way if you’re after a specific donut for a hunt but, if you’re happy with a Sparkling Power boost for any Pokémon type, it will be a lot quicker.
The table below lists some examples of Donuts you can make to potentially receive a Sparkling Power boost. However, remember it’s not a guaranteed outcome, and there are other recipes you can make too, as this is not a definitive list.

If you want to make a Sparkling Power Donut and don’t have the berries listed above, it’s possible to create your own recipe. Essentially, you want to have the Sweet Flavor Score as high as possible, with a limited score elsewhere. The higher the score in a specific flavor, the more chance of a boost of that type appearing.
Don’t worry if you get a high Fresh Flavor Score while making donuts, as these are also extremely useful. Fresh scores can provide boosts to catching power of specific types of Pokémon, and increase the encounter rate of specific types of Pokémon, both of which can assist when Shiny hunting.
