The next chapter for Lara Croft has been revealed at The Game Awards in Tomb Raider: Catalyst. The game, set to release in 2027, brings the iconic archeologist to Northern India to discover ancient secrets.
Released in 1996, the Tomb Raider franchise has become one of the most recognizable video game series ever. Starring the titular Lara Croft, players are taken across the globe in search of archaeological treasures of mystical proportions. From the ruins of Atlantis to the jungles of Paititi, the globetrotting archeologist has been through a lot. Fans have been anxiously awaiting a new entry since 2018’s Shadow of the Tomb Raider, especially after a look at a redone Lara Croft a few years back. Finally, after being teased earlier in the week, Tomb Raider is headed to uncharted territory in a new title.
This story is currently in development and will be updated once more information is available.
