Lords of the Fallen 2, revealed by CI Games earlier this year, has surfaced at another one of Geoff Keighley’s events, this time appearing at The Game Awards, live from Los Angeles. In an all-new trailer, the team at CI Games revealed the character split coming to Lords of the Fallen 2, with combat sequences backed by an awesome soundtrack.
This direct follow-on from 2023’s Lords of the Fallen, which was itself a reboot of 2014’s game of the same name (it’s confusing), is slated to launch in 2026, and it looks set to offer even more Soulslike action than the first time (and second time?) around the franchise.

Lords of the Fallen 2’s New Trailer is Visceral
Lords of the Fallen (2023) was a superb entry to the Soulslike space because of its world-bending mechanics, incredible bosses, and, later in life, phenomenal advancements in the multiplayer space. Earlier this year, the team at CI Games introduced the ‘Lords of the Fallen 2.0’ update, blowing co-op play up and making the game a wonder for more than one player to enjoy at once.
Now, during The Game Awards ceremony in LA, CI Games has unveiled a new trailer for Lords of the Fallen 2 (not to be confused with Lords of the Fallen 2.0, now 2.5), celebrating the impending release of this visceral, terrifyingly impressive slasher.
Here’s the new trailer:
Lords of the Fallen 2 looks phenomenal at first blush, but the proof will be in the pudding when the game launches in 2026.
