Everyone who is everyone in ARC Raiders wants to know about the Aphelion, the new battle rifle that serves as a perfect takedown tool for ARC enemies. It’s a high damage, powerful burst rifle that has unnerring accuracy and a retro aesthetic, and it’s the most sought-after item in ARC Raiders right now.
Below, I’ve outlined how you can find the APHELION rifle in ARC Raiders by first finding the Aphelion Blueprint, which is by no means an easy feat.
How to Find Aphelion Blueprint in ARC Raiders
With the 1.3 update in ARC Raiders, Embark Studios boosted the spawn rate of the Aphelion Blueprint, and just like that, gamers everywhere were finding it and crafting this incredible weapon.
While it was added with the North Line update a week ago, the drop rate for the blueprint was dramatically low, but things have now changed.
To find the Aphelion Blueprint, you’ll need to primarily focus on killing or fighting MATRIARCH enemies. This new and all-powerful boss character is, right now, the only guaranteed way to get an Aphelion blueprint in ARC Raiders. It’s one of the most valuable drops, and it’s widely believed that only two or three will appear in the entire broken-down structure of the Matriarch – so move fast.
Once you’ve got the Aphelion Blueprint, you’ll need to safely extract it so you can learn and consume it back in your Raider Den.
How to Craft Aphelion Rifle
To craft the APHELION rifle, you’ll first need your Gunsmith bench to be at Level 3, the maximum level available and by far the hardest level to attain out of most workbenches.
Then, you’ll need THREE Magnetic Accelerators, 3 Complex Gun Parts, and 1 Matriarch Reactor. It’s easily one of the most resource-heavy and complicated builds in ARC Raiders, but it’s worth it.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Aphelion:
- Ammo Type: Energy Clip
- Base Magazine Size: 10
- Firing Mode: 2-Round Burst
- ARC Armor Penetration: Strong
- Special Trait: Experimental
It has high stability and range, moderate agility and damage, but a low fire rate and terribly low stealth attributes.
