Stellar Blade Could Come To Xbox and Switch 2

Stellar Blade developers have revealed that they are considering expanding to other platforms, which could mean that ports for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox are on the cards.

A report from earlier this year claimed that Stellar Blade developers were already working on a Switch 2 port, with an official development kit already in their possession. Now, the devs have outright stated that additional platforms are being considered, which means there is a chance that Xbox and Switch 2 ports are indeed coming.

Stellar Blade Devs Are Considering Additional Platform Expansions to Enhance Brand Recognition and Boost Sales

Spotted by Windows Central, the discussion about additional platform expansions for Stellar Blade arose during a Q&A session in Shift Up’s latest earnings results. The developers first revealed that the game was recognized “as one of the most successful platform expansions in global AAA IP history” and has had a “stable sales performance in Q3.” The PC version experienced strong sales momentum in the fourth month after its launch, and the PS5 version has also successfully attracted new players. The combined sales across both platforms have “met internal expectations”.

However, “to further enhance brand recognition and boost sales” for Stellar Blade, the developers will carry out various promotional activities and are “considering additional platform expansions” to help make the title more accessible to players. Moreover, they are looking forward to “engaging an even broader global audience” through upcoming seasonal and holiday promotions for both PC and PS5 versions.

Expanding to other platforms seems like a good choice for Stellar Blade, considering the boost Helldivers 2 was able to gain with their Xbox port. However, the developers are yet to confirm outright that Xbox and Switch 2 ports for the title are on the way.

In other news, Shuhei Yoshida ‘absolutely wanted‘ Stellar Blade on PlayStation after playing it. Also, the title received three new epilogues in its September 2025 update.
