Fortnite is reportedly introducing new changes to the game’s revive system, including self-revive and a new feature for reboot vans in Chapter 7.
The Simpsons have taken over Fortnite as we wait for Chapter 6 to come to a close. While waiting for Chapter 7, several new leaks about the title have surfaced online, including reports about a collaboration with Kill Bill and adding a general Hollywood setting to the game. Now, it seems that the developers might be introducing some new gameplay elements as well by adding new additions to Fortnite’s revive system.
Fortnite is Getting Self-Revive and Drivable Reboot Vans
The latest leak about changes to Fortnite’s revive system comes through NotPaloLeaks on X (formerly Twitter), corroborated by a reliable Fortnite leaks source, ShiinaBR. The latest post on the platform states that “self-revive” and “drivable reboot vans” will arrive with Chapter 7. When asked in the comment section how self-revive will work in the upcoming Chapter, NotPaloLeaks revealed that they have heard the system will be “similar to Apex or Warzone, like a token”, however, they aren’t sure about it.
Many players in the comment section have also criticized Fortnite for copying Call of Duty and Warzone’s self-revive system; however, we still do not know how it works or whether it will be implemented. Drivable reboot vans seem like an interesting addition, as they will completely change the reboot vans players target in the game. Usually, a van outside the circle was considered useless, but if this feature is indeed coming, then players can move those vans back into the circle and initiate the reboot process in a safe space. However, as these are leaks, players should treat this information with caution.
In other news, Ned Flanders has eliminated more than 33,000 players globally. Additionally, here is when Fortnite’s Chapter 7 is scheduled to arrive.
