Ned Flanders Has Eliminated Over 33,000 Fortnite Players

The Simpsons takeover in Fortnite has led to a resurgence in popularity for the Epic Games title, with the debut of Homer, Marge, Bart, and the rest of the gang catching the eye, and Ned Flanders has certainly been busy.

Flanders is one of the many NPCs scattered around the Springfield map in Fortnite, and is available as a skin in the Battle Pass. Like all the other NPCs on the map, he takes issue if you attack him.

Fortnite players should certainly be used to this mechanic by now, as it has been in place for a long while, but it appears far too many players have been mistaken by Flanders’ usual neighbourly personality.

Epic Games has revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that Ned Flanders has secured over 33,000 eliminations since The Simpsons mini-season in Fortnite began last week.

These staggering numbers are even more impressive when you consider that Flanders isn’t one of the bosses this season, and drops no major loot that is worth hunting for, so there really is no reason for players to engage in combat with him.

Clearly, though, Flanders is more than capable of looking after himself, and it’s the players in the lobbies who should be concerned by a menacing figure that is lurking in every game that is played.

As The Simpsons mini-season still has a few weeks to go before Chapter 7 launches in Fortnite, expect Ned Flanders’ elimination count to increase further, and it seems likely he’ll end the season with over 100,000 eliminations to his name.
