The Resident Evil Survival Unit’s release date has been announced, and it is scheduled to arrive on November 18, 2025.
The Resident Evil franchise has projects scheduled for release on all platforms and media. We already know that the next mainline title, Requiem, is set to arrive in February 2026, and pre-orders are now live. A movie is also in the works, with filming already in motion. Now, the release date for their new mobile strategy title has also been revealed, and it arrives this month.
Resident Evil Survival Unit Releases on November 18
The official X account for Resident Evil Survivial Unit confirmed the release date for the title today. According to the post, the game is expected to arrive on November 18 (UTC) and November 17 (PST). Before this, there was no news about the mobile strategy title’s release date; all we knew was that the “game is scheduled to launch in 2025 across Japan, Korea, North America, Europe, and other regions in Asia.” And now we know that we have to wait a little over a week for it to arrive.
For those unaware, Resident Evil Survival Unit’s story aligns with that of Resident Evil 2 and 3, but unfolds as a parallel narrative. While being parallel, it also features core elements of the original stories, including unique traits and relationships between characters, that have been faithfully carried over. The character list for the game is enormous, featuring big names like Leon S. Kennedy, Clair Redfield, Jill Valentine, and more.
In other news, here’s how to sign up for Resident Evil Survival Unit’s pre-registration and the rewards it includes. Additionally, a Leon Skin was recently spotted on PlayStation Portugal’s pre-order page. Will you be playing Resident Evil Survival Unit when it releases this month?
