Battlefield 6 Skins Are Being Adjusted After Community Backlash

The colours of Battlefield 6’s System Override skin have been adjusted after the community expressed dissatisfaction about unrealistic skins coming to the game.

Battlefield 6 players are vigilant about the game’s cosmetics; anything even slightly unrealistic will not be accepted. Most recently, we saw significant backlash towards a Season One skin, Wicked Grin. Fortunately, the developers have been prompt in making adjustments.

Battlefield 6’s System Override Skin Gets a Do-Over

Spotted by TheGamer, a new post on the r/Battlefield subreddit reveals the subtle changes made to Battlefield 6’s System Override skin. The cosmetic was being labelled as a collaboration with Monster Energy drink because of its bright green accents. Now, the brightness has been significantly toned down, and the green colour has been darkened to feel more realistic. Players have expressed happiness in the comments section about developers’ prompt actions.

Battlefield 6 skins have been a topic of debate since the very beginning, as many players don’t want to go the same route Call of Duty did with their cosmetics, which is why, even before the game’s launch, the community has been quick to express its dissatisfaction with the leaked skins. Moreover, with the Wicked Grin, some players threatened not to revive players wearing this skin in their lobbies.

In other news, here’s everything you need to know about Battlefield 6 REDSEC Battle Royale’s Twitch Drops. Additionally, Call of Duty is attempting to combat Battlefield 6’s Season One release with a Black Ops 6 free trial.
