Pokémon Legends: Z-A has over 200 Pokémon to collect to fill out a Pokédex, and few are harder to get their hands on than Litwick due to restrictions around its spawn, but we’ve got all the details you need.
The majority of Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A can be encountered in various Wild Zones throughout Lumiose City, but a select few, including Litwick, are much rarer. In fact, there’s only one specific spot where you can get your hands on a Litwick.
If you’re missing the candle Pokémon from your Pokédex and want to tick it off, we’ve got everything you need to know.
Where to Find Litwick in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Litwick only appears in the Lumiose Sewers in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, an area you first visit during the story and can return to once the zone has been unlocked.
Entering the sewers for the first time during the story requires a Pokémon to know Ice Beam, and an Ice-type move is recommended for exploration in the Lumiose Sewers to cross specific sections—including to make a path over to where Litwick is waiting to be found.
Once story progression has unlocked the Lumiose City sewers, you can return to the location by fast traveling to Cafe Woof in Bleu Sector 3, then heading around the edge of the buildings to find a path at the back. Look for a man standing outside a gate with a Camerupt and speak to him to unlock the doors.
This also unlocks the Camerupt Entrepreneur Side Mission, though it doesn’t need to be completed fully to gain access to the sewers/
Can You Catch Lampent & Chandelure in Pokémon Legends: Z-A?
Yes, both Lampent and Chandelure can be caught separately in Pokémon Legends: Z-A if you don’t want to go through the Evolution process with Litwick, though you’ll still need to obtain all three to complete your Pokédex.
Lampent is found on the rooftop area of Wild Zone 17 exclusively at night time, which is available to explore after completing Main Mission 24 and getting promoted to Rank C.
Chandelure, meanwhile, can only be encountered in the post-game when you unlock Wild Zone 20, and there is no guarantee it will appear. This is because Chandelure is one of the many Pokémon that can appear as an Alpha Pokémon in the center of the zone, beneath the remains of Prism Tower.
There’s a long list of Pokémon that can appear as an Alpha in this spot, with Chandelure’s appearance being randomised alongside the likes of Leafeon, Garchomp, Tyranitar, and many more.
Remember, this Alpha Pokémon spawn spot will be blocked if Zygarde is waiting to battle you, and Alpha Pokémon won’t spawn in this location until you have defeated and caught the Legendary Pokémon.
