Summer Game Fest 2026 Date Announced As Show Gets New Venue

Summer Game Fest will return for another show in 2026, and its official date and new venue have been confirmed.

In a post on social media on Tuesday, organizer Geoff Keighley announced that the annual summer gaming showcase will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026. This year, however, the show will be taking place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Keighley says that the show will be a “spectacular, cross-platform showcase of what’s next in video games.” The show also promises, as expected, brand new video game announcements and reveals.

Summer Game Fest 2025 took place on June 6, 2025, at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. The show had spent the last three years at the venue since it began producing in-person events. This year’s show featured reveals such as Lego Voyagers, Deadpool VR, Dying Light: The Beast, and Resident Evil: Requiem, among others.

Tickets for Summer Game Fest 2026 will go on sale in Spring 2026.
