Minecraft continues to go big, and the next slew of updates is set to be teased at Minecraft Live, which we’ve got all the details for in this guide, including the start time of the event.
Minecraft Live is the bi-annual presentation showcasing what Mojang has in store for players, with the last event earlier this year unveiling the Happy Ghast and other treats.
For everything you need for Minecraft Live, including the date and start time, we’ve got a full breakdown in the guide below.
When is Minecraft Live in September 2025?

The next Minecraft Live presentation is set for Saturday, September 27.
This is the second, and final, Minecraft Live of 2025, following on from the previous date in March 2025 that featured game drops and exclusive movie content.
What Times Does Minecraft Live Start?
Minecraft Live will begin at 10 AM PT on the above date, as confirmed by Mojang itself.
The official website confirmed the start time of the presentation, which we’ve put into the table below and adjusted to major time zones across the world.
| Time Zone | Minecraft Live Start Time |
|---|---|
| Pacific Time (PT) | 10 AM – Sept. 27 |
| Central Time (CT) | 12 PM – Sept. 27 |
| Eastern Time (ET) | 1 PM – Sept. 27 |
| British Summer Time (BST) | 6 PM – Sept. 27 |
| Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) | 3 AM – Sept. 28 |
How to Watch Minecraft Live
Minecraft Live is available to watch on the official website, YouTube, or Twitch, Mojang has confirmed.
Details of any drops have not been shared ahead of the event, so it’s unknown what platform you’ll need to benefit from them, if they are made available.
How Long is Minecraft Live?
The full runtime of Minecraft Live has not been confirmed, though it could range anywhere from one hour to 90 minutes.
On the Minecraft Live website, Mojang states that the length of the event depends on “how many updates we have to share with you.”
What to Expect From Minecraft Live
There’s not been any word on exactly what will appear in Minecraft Live, though previous events hint at what we can expect.
In March, we saw details of the Spring to Life update, adding variants to classic mobs, a first look at Vibrant Visuals, and the reveal of the Happy Ghast.
At the very least, we can expect details on the next big Minecraft update and what it includes, along with a release date.
