Before the big release, a free demo is available to try out the game across major platforms, and all the details are below.
When is The Digimon Story: Time Stranger Demo Coming Out?
The free demo for Digimon Story: Time Stranger is available from September 11, though some users on Steam will be able to play from September 10.
Bandai Namco announced the free demo ahead of release, which will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
A huge benefit of diving into the demo is that save data will carry over to full release, so you can get a head-start on the title ahead of next month’s drop.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger Demo Exact Start Time
The Digimon Story: Time Stranger Demo will be available from midnight local time on console, and from 3 pm PT on September 10 on Steam.
On console, the Time Stranger Demo has a staggered release, meaning those in Australia and New Zealand will be the first to be able to jump into the game. Due to this, you may be able to switch your time zone on Xbox Series X|S to New Zealand and play early.
For PC, however, the Steam release is a global one, with the doors simultaneously opening for players around the world.
