A fresh update has landed in Fortnite, bringing Hammerhead Choppas for you to take to the skies in, and we’ll direct you to where to find them.
Fortnite’s latest update on August 26 was headlined by the addition of the Gorillaz in Fortnite Festival, but there were also additional items added to Battle Royale.

Hammerhead Choppa Locations in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4
Hammerhead Choppa locations in Fortnite are randomly spread across specific spawn points, and we’ve marked all the spawns we’ve encountered on the map above.
In general, Hammerhead Choppas are found in locations where bugs are found, including The Hive, Swarmy Stash, and O.X.R HQ. However, you don’t have to only head to named locations.
I’ve found Hammerhead Choppas in smaller locations around the map, where there is often much less competition for loot and the Choppa itself. This is the best approach if you’re after a Choppa, as you’re less likely to be left stranded and empty-handed if you miss out on the vehicle.
Similar to the Shadow Briefing locations, spawns are random and not guaranteed, so it’s wise to be prepared to check a few different spots in a map.
It’s also worth remembering that the Hammerhead Choppa is not equipped with weapons, so don’t expect to be able to unleash havoc upon enemies from above.
How to Use Loudspeakers in Hammerhead Choppa
To use Loudspeakers in a Hammerhead Choppa, simply press the designated button while piloting the vehicle; down on the D-Pad on controller, or B on PC.
Using the Loudspeakers within 100 meters of an enemy is a Weekly Quest in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4 that can be completed pretty quickly. All you need to do is be within range and hit the designated button.
If you jump into pilot a Hammerhead Choppa in an area where enemies are nearby, hit the button quickly to complete the challenge before take off. I managed to do this the very first time I piloted the vehicle, so it shouldn’t take too long at all.
