The FAQ section for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has revealed that the game will have 7 playable characters.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was finally revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live yesterday, after weeks of leaks and rumours. It was easily one of the highlights of the night, showcasing exciting Arkham-style gameplay, an open-world Gotham City, and much more. New details have now been revealed through the FAQ section.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Playable Characters Confirmed
Spotted by TheGamer, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight’s FAQ is now live on the Warner Bros. Games support page. The FAQ section clearly states that the upcoming LEGO Batman game will feature seven playable characters: Batman, Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul. Each character features unique skills, combos, and gadgets, for example: Batman’s Batclaw, Jim Gordon’s foam sprayer, Robin’s line launcher, and Catwoman’s whip.
The FAQ section also reveals several other details, including which villains the players will face, featuring The Joker, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, Ra’s al Ghul, Bane, and more. Regarding vehicles, players will be able to check out a full range of Batmobiles and Batcycles, including the legendary Tumbler. Coming to gameplay, the title will feature “an authentic expression of Batman’s fighting style with fluid attack chains, over-the-top takedowns, and powerful gadgets.” Players can also grapple, glide, or drive through the open world.
