Without the benefit of being the first series entry in 11 years, EA faced the challenge of providing enough incentive to make College Football 26 an annual purchase. To help accomplish that goal, this installment introduced over 300 real-world coaches, improved wear and tear, and added 100s of new plays.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at which platforms College Football 26 is available on.
Can You Play College Football 26 on PS5 or PS4?
College Football 26 is on PlayStation 5, but the game will not be available on PlayStation 4.
PlayStation fans are once again left in the dark for a second straight year. To play CFB 26, you will have to upgrade to a next-gen console. Sony has also confirmed that the upcoming sports sim has been enhanced for PS5 Pro consoles, but did not specifically reveal what improvements have been made.
Can You Play College Football 26 on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One?
Xbox Series X|S is supported for College Football 26, but not Xbox One.
Just like on PlayStation, Xbox One users also miss out on CFB 26. Additionally, the game has been optimized for Xbox Series X|S, meaning you can expect 4K Ultra HD, HDR10, ray tracing, and a consistent 60 frames per second or more.
Can You Play College Football 26 on PC?
College Football 26 is not available on PC.
Although you can use the Team Builder feature on PC, the complete game isn’t available on the platform. Some fans had hoped that this would be the year, as it was also unavailable last year, but the wait continues.
Can You Play College Football 26 on Nintendo Switch?
Although it would be great to play College Football 26 on Nintendo Switch, that is not an option for this title.
Rebuilding a Dynasty would be perfect on the go with a Nintendo Switch, but that dream won’t be a reality for this title, at least. Madden 26 and EA FC games have made the move over to Switch consoles, but EA didn’t do the same for College Football 26. It’s unclear whether the developers have any plans to add the series to Nintendo consoles.
