Mecha Break is a likely contender for many multiplayer game of the year awards. It’s exceedingly popular, it handles well, and its rigorous beta testing should ensure its release in a solid state. That said, let’s check out its platforms coming at launch.
Amazing Seasun Games has moved on from the sci-fi, RPG nature of Snowbreak: Containment Zone and shifted to a full-blown multiplayer mechfest. You can expect intense PvP action in Mecha Break, and it’s the perfect partnership of Armored Core and Gundam rolled into one.
Its beta proved popular, and if you’re keen to get involved, let’s run through Mecha Break’s platforms.
Can You Play Mecha Break on PS5?

At the moment, there is no word on Mecha Break releasing on PS5.
This seems like a questionable decision, as the PlayStation is considered by many to be the main home of first and third-party gaming. But right now, we don’t know if Mecha Break is a limited-time exclusive elsewhere, or if the multiplayer mech title is coming to PS5 at all.
As usual, we’ll update you if Amazing Seasun Games provides information regarding the game’s PS5 platform status.
Can You Play Mecha Break on Xbox?
The Mecha Break launch includes Xbox Series X|S releases for owners of either next-gen console.
While the PS5’s status remains in a limbo state, I can tell you for certain, Mecha Break is on Xbox. It’s not Xbox One, in case you’re an old-gen user wondering this question. It’s available for current-gen Xbox owners.
It’s unlikely an Xbox One port will be commissioned at this point either, so I wouldn’t get your hopes up.
Can You Play Mecha Break on Nintendo Switch?
Both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 owners must miss out on Mecha Break coming to either platform.
A Switch 1 omission doesn’t shock me; however, I thought the Switch 2 would benefit. After all, it’s thought that the Switch 2 is as powerful as an Xbox Series S. Many companies are bringing third-party games to the Nintendo Switch 2.
Not Mecha Break, unfortunately.
Can You Play Mecha Break on PC?
PC players will get to play Mecha Break.
Hardly surprising, but it’s official—Mecha Break is on PC. Be sure to check the specs of your hardware first to see if they’re compatible with Mecha Break. If they are, mount your mech and start mashing away in mech multiplayer massacres!
