Amouranth, one of the most highly controversial creators in the business, has announced an imminent return to Twitch two years to the day that she left the platform for Kick.com’s greener pastures. In a video clip uploaded hours ago on social media, the borderline NSFW creator revealed that she’s heading back to Twitch after making $38 million from Kick.
Amouranth’s first Twitch stream back is expected to take place today, June 20.
Multistream or No?
It’s not clear if Amouranth has completely departed Kick.com or if she’s preparing for a multi-streaming campaign that includes Twitch, but it won’t be long before we find out. I’d suggest it’s the former, as the video clip uploaded by Amouranth on social media seems pretty definitive:
Responses to Amouranth’s return to Twitch were mixed, with many hurling comments at the creator referencing her recent legal issues with her ‘abusive husband’, which split Amouranth’s community down the middle.
Most recently, Amouranth was in the news after her home was set upon by armed attackers desperate to steal her ‘cryptocurrency fortune.’ In a strange turn of events, Amouranth ended up shooting a would-be robber after being ‘pistol-whipped’ in the heist-gone-wrong at her Texas home.
Amouranth’s Twitch resurfacing could be short-lived, though. Historically, the streamer has been banned at least ten times on the platform as a result of her constantly pushing the terms of service with skimpy outfits and questionable content.
