Stellar Blade has proven that time means nothing to a good game, with the recent PC launch of the post-apocalyptic sexy-slasher hitting one million sales in just three days. To put that into perspective, when Stellar Blade was released on PlayStation 5 in April 2024, it took almost two months to hit the same milestone.
It helps that the game is being bolstered by hundreds of lewd mods, which form the backbone of the community in the PC market.
Stellar Performance
In a post on the South Korean site, Ruliweb, it was revealed that Stellar Blade has secured one million PC sales in just three days, decimating the 58 (or so) days it took the game to hit one million sales on PlayStation 5.
That brings the total sales for Stellar Blade up to a substantial three million units.
The upgraded version of Stellar Blade has been turning heads and has become the number one PlayStation-to-PC game to ever be released, pulling in a whopping peak player count of almost 200,000 users on Steam.
Stellar Blade has effortlessly topped the charts on PC, destroying every other PlayStation port that has been introduced to PC over the last few years, including The Last of Us, God of War, and Horizon.
Last month, Shift Up ‘quietly’ revealed a sequel for Stellar Blade, which has been on the cards since a few weeks after the game launched in 2024. It’s not at all known what the sequel will entail, but we can hope for the best, given the performance of the first game in what could be a fruitful series.
