How Much is FBC: Firebreak? Price Explained

FBC: Firebreak hits shelves soon. If you’re unsure which edition to purchase, we’ve got you covered with the price and the best deal.

Remedy Entertainment’s most recent project, Alan Wake 2, received overwhelmingly positive reviews and was also a financial success. In February, it surpassed two million copies sold, officially turning a profit. As for what’s next, the studio is actively working on a remake compilation for Max Payne 1 and 2, alongside a Control sequel.

But before looking too far ahead to the upcoming titles, Remedy has an exciting new FPS game called FBC: Firebreak to help hold fans over. This is the studio’s first time diving into the online multiplayer genre, so let’s take a look at what fans can expect and how much it will set them back.

The Standard Edition of FBC: Firebreak costs $39.99, but this option doesn’t include the benefits of purchasing the Deluxe Edition for $49.99

The Deluxe Edition includes a collection of exclusive cosmetics and premium voice packs that allow you to customize your character further. Base owners can upgrade to the deluxe edition for $10.

What’s The Best FBC: Firebreak Edition to Buy?

At the end of the day, the best edition of FBC: Firebreak boils down to personal preference. But unless you are a huge Remedy fan and care about cosmetic items, there isn’t enough of a difference to warrant making the upgrade.

Before launch day, Remedy already revealed a post-launch roadmap for the rest of 2025. In the fall, Codename “Outbreak” introduces a new job site, gameplay systems, enemies, and free rewards.

Meanwhile, Codename “Blackout” is scheduled to launch in the winter and also includes a new job, equipment, enemies, and more. Both of these updates will be free to players, which should factor into which edition you purchase.

It would be one thing if the Deluxe Edition included both DLC packs. However, they are both free, diminishing the value of spending the extra $10 on an upgraded version. You get the same amount of content for purchasing the Standard Edition, so that’s the best bang for your buck.

And if you fall in love with the game and want the extra cosmetics, there is always the option to upgrade later.
