PlayStation To Allow DualSense To Connect To Multiple Devices At Once

Sony is set to release a new update for its PlayStation DualSense controllers later this year, bringing a highly requested feature to the devices.

Announced via social media, the new update will allow users to connect the controller to multiple devices at once. That means players should be able to connect the DualSense to both a PlayStation 5 (PS5) and a PC without having to repair. Or, possibly, multiple PS5 systems.

“Want to pair your DualSense controller to multiple devices at once?” Sony said. “An update planned for later this year enhances pairing functionality.”

Exact details on how the new functionality will work weren’t revealed with the announcement. The information, Sony says, will come at a later date. That will include information on how many devices the DualSense can connect to at once, how to connect to more than one simultaneously, and a release date for the update.
