Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, the founder of 100 Thieves, has taken to social media to put Call of Duty on blast. In his words, Call of Duty has never been in a worse situation with cheaters and the overall integrity of the game. He stressed that during a recent eight-hour stream, he encountered cheaters all over the place – and it’s not the first time.
He claimed that ranked play in Black Ops 6 is screwed and the overarching ranking system is haphazard. It’s not a good look for Call of Duty – Nadeshot is one of the most influential creators and former pro players in the space, currently leading the most dominant organisation in the Call of Duty League.
‘I Mean, It’s Bad’
In a video uploaded hours ago on social media, Nadeshot tore into Activision and Call of Duty:
Gentlemen, listen to me. Call of Duty has never been worse.
I really, again, I do love this game, but oh my God. There was a hacker in almsot every lobby we played today. Eight straight hours, okay? I know that I’m beating a dead horse here, repeat episodes of your least favourite TV show. We might be idiots, we’re still playing this game, but I’m not kidding.
Eight straight hours of lobbies we were hacked on.
Gentlemen, we might be f***ed. We really might. I mean, it’s bad.
This is far from being the first time that Nadeshot has made statements like this about Call of Duty, the game that arguably made him as a professional. In December, he stressed that Activision’s anti-cheat teams have no integrity and that the holes in the game are getting bigger with each passing day.
The cheating situation in Call of Duty has been the game’s biggest problem for the last few years, and it doesn’t seem to be improving.
