Grow a Garden’s Latest Update Adds Stacks of New Cosmetics

Grow a Garden is the latest Roblox game that’s taking the world by storm. It has taken over social and streaming platforms in recent weeks, and it shows no signs of slowing down. This hyper-popular gardening game has just undergone a major update (1.07.0) that has added heaps of cosmetics, crates, and expansions to the title.

This game has a simple loop that’s proving to be a huge hit with gamers. In Grow a Garden, you simply acquire seeds, plant them, cultivate them, sell the plants, and make money to purchase more seeds. It’s all about customising your garden, and Grow a Garden’s latest update has added stacks of new cosmetics.

How to Get Cosmetic Crates in Grow a Garden

The latest Grow a Garden update (1.07.0) introduces a new Cosmetics vendor, Sam, who will sell you loads of crates that you can crack open to collect cosmetics to customise your garden. While the Exotic Cosmetic Crate can only be purchased using Robux, all other cosmetic crates can be purchased using Sheckles, the in-game currency.

To a certain extent, anyway. There’s a tiering system that prevents higher-tier items from being purchased with Sheckles.

Here are all the crate types added with the latest Grow a Garden update:

  • Sign Crate (6 cosmetics)
  • Common Gnome Crate (5 cosmetics)
  • Fun Crate (5 cosmetics)
  • Farmers Gnome Crate (5 cosmetics)
  • Classic Gnome Crate (5 cosmetics)
  • Statue Crate (5 cosmetics)
  • Exclusive Crate (7 cosmetics)

Each crate has a chance of spawning a range of items, and you’re not guaranteed to get any particular cosmetic in any crate, so you’ll need to grind to earn enough Sheckles to unlock every crate item in Grow a Garden.

What’s New in Grow a Garden?

The latest Grow a Garden update has added a few new things. For instance, there’s a new Harvest Tool that makes collecting fruits much easier. There is also a slew of new events coming up, including a DJ Jhai appearance, a Plasma Mutation event, and something the Grow a Garden team has dubbed ‘new secret events’.

Plenty of issues in Grow a Garden have also been fixed with the latest update:

  • New Pet Menu: When you have pets equipped in your garden, the new menu will be usable. Easily feed or pick up your pets here instead of chasing after them in your garden!
  • You can now rotate plants with the trowel
  • When looking at unharvested fruits, they will now display their mutations
  • Backpack size is technically increased due to fixing a calculation issue
  • Fixed not being able to steal certain fruit on mobile
  • Added restock timer above the seed shop
  • Made a huge number of performance upgrades
  • Fixed coconut issues
