Embracer Group Plans to Release ’76 Different Games’ In The Next Year

In a recent financial report published by the Embracer Group, it was revealed that the firm has a whopping 76 games slated for launch in the next 12 months. The report boasted having a ‘back-end loaded FY 2025/26’ that has a ‘continued focus on quality’.

The full spread wasn’t detailed, but the breakdown included games like Metal Eden, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, Killing Floor 3, and Wreckreation. It was noted that there is also a ‘handful of titles yet to be announced’.

A Strong Spread

In the financial update posted by the Embracer Group this morning, it was confirmed that:

As of today, we expect to release 76 different games during FY 2025/26 that we have invested in, with a a mix of new IPs, sequels, and remasters. We have a solid slate of exciting new releases in FY 2025/26, including Metal Eden, Gothic 1 Remake, REANIMAL, Fellowship, Wreckreation, the next SpongeBob SquarePants game, NORSE: Oath of Blood, Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core alongside a handful titles yet to be announced.

The slate of AAA releases promises to be ‘key financial drivers’ at the Embracer Group and across the repository of subsidiaries sitting under that umbrella. That includes both Killing Floor 3 (recently delayed) and Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra (also delayed). The team explained:

We are expecting Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra to drive notable revenues but to have lower margins due to shared economics with several other partners.

An announced third AAA title expected to drop in FY 2025/26 has been pushed back to FY 2026/27, with Embracer Group suggesting that, whatever it is, it’ll need ‘a few more quarters to polish’.

In the next four years, the Group has nine AAA games slated for release.

It wasn’t all good news in the financial update, though. The team revealed that net sales decreased year-over-year by -18%, with PC and console game sales taking the biggest hit (-27%).
