AMD has announced two new graphics cards are coming to consumers in June. During its Computex Keynote on Wednesday, AMD unveiled the Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card set for release on June 5.
The new card will release in two variants, an 8GB model for $299 and a 16GB version for $349.
The RX 9060 XT is based on the new Navi 44 GPU and features 32 RDNA 4 compute units and clock speeds up to 3.13 GHz. AMD says that the new GPU “doubles ray tracing throughput compared to the previous generation, providing gamers with more realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections that bring virtual worlds to life”.
The card features a 128-bit memory interface with speeds up to 20 Gbps. With a total board power of up to 160W, AMD suggests a minimum power supply of at least 450W for your PC.

The new RX 9060 XT cards are being lined up against Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti when looking at competition with 1440p gaming in mind. According to AMD, the new cards give players a 15% increase in “gaming performance per dollar average” when compared to the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB. AMD also says that, across 40 games tested, the RX 9060 XT sees 6% faster gaming against the 5060 Ti. It’s worth mentioning, however, that it used the 16GB model for the comparison.
Partners for the new graphics cards include Acer, Asus, Gigabyte, XFX, and more.
