ARC Raiders is creeping up on other extraction shooters in the genre. It’s a game on the rise, and if you’re looking to get involved, here’s everything about its platforms and how to play it.
Escape From Tarkov really found something with extraction shooter gameplay. Heading into a location, fighting AI and real players, looting key items, and escaping seems trivial in many ways. Yet it’s spawned a new way of enjoying FPS and third-person shooters. We’ve had Call of Duty’s take on it, Gray Zone Warfare, and even Rainbow Six had a go.
But ARC Raiders could be the real deal. With Bungie’s Marathon looking to steal the spotlight, now might be the time to jump into ARC Raiders on its available platforms.
Can You Play ARC Raiders on PS5?

You can play ARC Raiders on PS5, whether that’s the Tech Tests or the eventual release.
As of writing, ARC Raiders is undergoing a competitive Tech Test with players clamoring over one another trying to get in. The one thing we can say for certain is that all ARC Raiders tests are playable on PS5.
Also, once ARC Raiders has a launch date, the PS5 is one of its platforms. So suit up, boot it up, and play with PlayStation pals.
Can You Play ARC Raiders on Xbox Series X|S?
Xbox Series X and Series X users are also invited to the ARC Raiders party as the shooter is available for Microsoft and Xbox users.
I can copy and paste everything I said for PlayStation above. While PS4 and Xbox One owners miss out, there is full console availability for ARC Raiders testers and eventual buyers.
Xbox Series X|S players are eligible for Tech Tests and the inevitable release.
Can You Play ARC Raiders on PC?
PC users can also play ARC Raiders through Steam and the Epic Games Store.
It’s a clean sweep for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC users. Unfortunately, Nintendo Switch users miss out for now. Again, it’s only a test phase as I write this. When ARC Raiders comes out, the Switch 2 is likely available, and this could change the dynamic completely.
For now, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC players are the beneficiaries of ARC Raiders’ platforms and availability.
What have you made of ARC Raiders so far? Does it have the signature Embark Studios flavor we’ve had a taste of in The Finals? Let us know in the comments, and head over to the Insider Gaming forum to take the discussion further.
