Ubisoft has just revealed the Year 1 post-launch roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, highlighting new content for May, June, and the coming months.

May
In early May, the developers will release their first story drop, a new free quest titled ‘The Works of Luis Frois,’ along with a Codex Update and quality-of-life updates. The story drops feature a new ally, abilities, activities and additional backstory that permanently impact the game. Their first special collaboration will be released in late May, featuring a Parkour Update and a Photo Mode update. The Parkour update will focus on height-gaining back ejects, height-gaining side ejects and a new vertical ledge jump.
June
Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ roadmap reveals that their second story drop will arrive in June, a new free quest titled ‘New Ally For Your League’. The content will come along with new difficulty settings, gameplay immersion options, an open-world alarm system, and a headgear option for cutscenes.
All content featured for May and June in Assassin’s Creed Shadows Year 1 Roadmap will be released as a free update.
Other Free and Paid Content Featured in Assassin’s Creed Shadows Year 1 Roadmap
The developers have also revealed that New Game+, community feedback options, new story drops, special collaborations, codex updates, animus content and new rewards will arrive as free updates in the coming months. Moreover, there’s also paid content to look forward to, such as the Claws of Awaji expansion (free for players who pre-ordered the game) and store drops.
