Star Wars: Eclipse Concept Art Leak Gives a Glimpse of the Games Characters

A recent finding of Star Wars: Eclipse concept art for some of the games characters have been posted online, giving us a brief glimpse of what to expect when it comes to the games characters.

[UPDATE] – At a request, we have removed the images.

The images, which have been making the rounds the past 24 hours originate from an artist who posted the concept art to their portfolio, which have since been removed.

13 images were found in total, which show three different species in the Star Wars universe; Zenezians, Rodians, and Gungans. Two characters, “Travis” and “Jotraaaz Kammzzzek” where also named individually, suggesting that they could have a bigger involvement in the game when it releases.

At the time of writing, Quantic Dream are yet to confirm anymore details on Star Wars: Eclipse. In fact, one of the only times where we have heard official information is from 2012’s The Game Awards, where the game was officially revealed.

Star Wars Eclipse is described as, “a new action-adventure, multiple-character branching narrative game set in the High Republic era of the iconic Star Wars™ galaxy.” In September 2023, Quantic Dream’s Vice President of development said that the game was “simmering” in development.

In 2023, Insider Gaming also reported that Quantic Dream’s Star Wars: Eclipse was no where near ready during the time of its announcement in 2021 and its reveal trailer was a means of attracting talent to work on the project.

Back then, it was understood that Eclipse was targeting a 2026 release date, but the studio was struggling to find to hire staff following allegations of workplace issues, including sexual harassment, crunch, and toxic work culture. It was also said by sources that the game was struggling with its in-built and consideration where being made to move to Unreal Engine 5.

At the time of writing, it’s currently unclear on where the project currently is in development. It’s expected that the game will release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
