No, at launch, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is only available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
The Standard Edition of the game costs $49.99, while the Deluxe Edition is priced at $59.99 and includes new quests that unlock Dagon Armors, exclusive weapons, and horse armor sets.
Bethesda also made the game a day-one launch for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscribers.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Nintendo Switch 2 Leaks Explained
Nintendo leaker eXtas1s claimed, “Oblivion Remastered will come to Nintendo Switch 2, and I have confirmation that active work is underway.”
The leaker did not reveal an official release date for the Switch port or what fans can expect from the game’s performance.
This wouldn’t be the first Elder Scrolls title to release on the Switch. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition launched on the Nintendo Switch in 2017. The original Switch console is by no means a powerhouse compared to other consoles this generation, but the game ran well.
It’s unclear how well The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered would run on the Switch 2, but a good comparison would be the Elden Ring Tarnished Edition, which is scheduled for release in 2025. All signs point toward the game running at 30 FPS, but some fans believe it will reach 60 FPS, thanks to the new hardware.
The Oblivion Remaster surpassed 100,000 concurrent players on Steam just hours after launch, so the game would undoubtedly be a massive hit on the Switch 2 as well.
