50 Cent Hints at Involvement in GTA Series on Instagram

50 cent vice city

In 2021, Dr Dre was featured in Grand Theft Auto Online – and now, it seems that Fiddy himself may be stepping into the GTA limelight with some kind of connection to Vice City.

On Instagram, 50 Cent shared a post that directly referenced Vice City, but being as cryptic as it was, nobody has yet been able to figure out in what capacity he’s connected to the title – if at all. He offered almost nothing in the way of an explanation, but instead, gave a promise that he’ll explain more in due course.

Is 50 Cent Connected to Vice City?

Following the GTA 6 leaks that occurred last year, it became apparent that the next game in the legendary franchise could be set in a modern-day rendition of Vice City, the setting for 2002’s title of the same name.

It hasn’t been confirmed, of course – but circumstantial evidence sort of suggested it could be. Last year, Rockstar confirmed (very briefly) that work on the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series was underway, but that’s all the information that was offered up.

Now, it has been suggested by the man himself that 50 Cent could be connected with a Vice City entity in some way, whether that’s a video game – or something else entirely (perhaps a TV show, as there have been whispers of one).

It stands to reason that Rockstar would be working hard to obtain licensure for Grand Theft Auto 6 in a number of ways, and that includes music – so, could 50 Cent merely be offering up his creative vocal and musical talents for Vice City?

Or, like Dr Dre in Grand Theft Auto Online, could Fifty be stepping up to fill an on-screen role? Here’s what 50 Cent had to say on the matter:

I will explain later, GLG (GreenLightGang) this shit bigger than POWER trust me. BOOM

‘Power’ is a reference to a popular television show of the same name, backed by 50 Cent. There’s your connection to a television production, but of course, that’s just conjecture.

How do you think 50 Cent is connected to Vice City?
