5. Fallout: New Vegas
The Fallout series has been creating games for quite a while now. The sad thing though, is none of them are necessarily direct sequels to the other. Still, some of these titles deserve a sequel more than others, including Fallout: New Vegas. New Vegas was a tad bit smaller compared to Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, but players went crazy over this game. It is still widely considered the best Fallout game out there.

4. Far Cry 3
While Far Cry has made multiple additional titles after the release of Far Cry 3, many have still begged for a direct sequel to the game. With some of the most intricately written antagonists and one of the coolest maps in the game, Far Cry 3 became a fan favorite within the Far Cry community. Many would love to play on this game’s island again.
Far Cry 3 is not only one of the best games ever created, but it also incredibly deserving of a sequel.
3. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Heading back to the old days, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is easily one of the darkest Zelda games to date. With such a big cliffhanger ending, many wanted to see what would be next for this generation’s Link and Midna. Sadly, the game never got a sequel, and many have wanted one for years.
Being the classic that it is, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess deserves a direct sequel.

2. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
When first released, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was said to be the ending for the Witcher series. Luckily though, this franchise took off with its third installment, sort of forcing CD Projekt Red to start developing a fourth game. Yep, The Witcher will be getting a fourth installment, making it easily a top game deserving of a sequel.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will always be one of the best games ever made, and The Witcher 4 will have a difficult time topping it.
1. Red Dead Redemption 2
Argued as one of the greatest RPGs ever created, Red Dead Redemption 2 took the world by storm when first released. This sequel fulfilled everything gamers wanted after playing its predecessor. Now, with GTA 6 on the horizon, many are hoping that Rockstar’s next endeavor will be to make a third installment in the Red Dead Redemption series.
