2K Sports has announced the return of Top Spin Tennis for the first time in over a decade with TopSpin 2K25.

“The worlds of tennis and 2K have collided,” 2K says. “TopSpin 2K25 is the next must-play sports game from 2K that fully immerses fans into the world of tennis. Unveiled in conjunction with the Australian Open, 2024’s first Grand Slam, TopSpin 2K25 is now available for a first look.”

Aside from confirmation that the Australian Open would be in the game, no other details about the game, including its features and release date, were revealed with the teaser trailer. 2K Sports did say, however, that all of that information is on the way. There was also no mention of which 2K studio would be handling the game’s development.

The last Top Spin Tennis game was Top Spin 4 back in 2011 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii. That game was developed by 2K Czech while the entry prior, Top Spin 3, was developed by PAM Entertainment prior to its closure in 2008.

  1. Who asked for this?!! Where’s Mafia 4?!! The rate they make these sports games you would think they could drop the other games at the same pace with the same amount of funding. Same with EA where’s Skate? Why can’t they bring SSX back, Def Jam, get the rights to make NBA Street again?
